Letter from Charles DeBoer

Dear FCBC Community:

I am writing to inform you that the Board of Directors of the French Creek Bible Conference have made the difficult decision to cancel the Post High and all Youth Conferences that were scheduled to be held from mid-July to mid-August this year in French Creek State Park. After closely monitoring the advice and guidelines set forth by our state government and public health authorities, we have decided to take this step to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of our campers and staff. At this time, the Board has decided to delay making a decision on whether or not to hold its annual Family Camp held on Labor Day weekend until a later date.

I understand that this decision will come as a great disappointment to all those who look forward to French Creek Bible Conference each summer for the preaching of God’s Word, the fellowship with God’s people, and the renewal of friendships after a long winter. To that end, I would like you to know that we are committed to providing some type of “French Creek experience” to campers this year. The Board has commissioned a committee which is charged with looking at alternative activities for all age levels to be held later in the summer or in the fall if health conditions improve and restrictions are lifted.

We will continue to keep you informed about any updates we might have.

In Christ,
Charles DeBoer
President, French Creek Bible Conference Board of Trustees
